How Videos Can Revolutionise Your Business

Every business owner is on the lookout for that extra boost. It turns out that the boost you’re looking for might be customised video creation. Before you check out and declare that video creation isn’t right for your services, stick around and keep an open mind. Videos of some kind or another have started to appear in just about every industry in the world, and for very good reason. They work.

It has been reported that having a video on business’s corporate site increases conversions by up to 80%. Videos in emails have had equally as impressive results, increasing click-through rates by 65%. No matter the service you offer adding videos may have big results, so much so that taking a look at the possibility is the least you can do.

Types Of Video Productions

First and foremost, the obvious question; where would videos benefit your business? There are a few central areas for videos; explainers, social media, presentation, testimonials, viral ads, product demos, onboarding customers, training, customer service, and onboarding staff.

Not all are necessarily about boosting sales, but all have the potential to have a dramatic impact. You probably have need for at least one of the above, if not more. The questions you’re probably asking now are; how do you go about making a video, and is it really worth the time?

Do Videos Work?

The short answer to the question is yes, videos do work. No matter the purpose you might have in mind for them, a video is dramatically more effective than the alternatives. Whether you’re looking to advertise an online casino sign up bonus, or are hoping to educate potential clients on your services, a video is by far the better choice. Humans are significantly more likely to pay attention, retain information, and focus when information is presented in a video.

Though, it’s not just because well-made videos are more likely to capture attention that they are more effective. It also just so happens that search engines love videos, as opposed to written blocks of text. In short, if you want your information out there, and you want search engines to pay attention to it, put the information in a video.

How To Create Custom Videos

The next most obvious is question is how to get custom videos made. If your natural instinct is to tackle the projects in-house, that is an understandable reaction. But if you, or your staff, aren’t already experienced in creating visual media, it is better to let the professionals handle it. Creating successful, attention grabbing videos is dramatically more specialised than it seems, and the negative impact of a less than perfect video can be big.

Depending on the videos you want there are numerous professional services available. You first need to decide if you want the video animated, presented as an infographic, or live action. There is certainly a company willing to meet your needs. Just remember; live action will almost certainly be the most difficult, and most expensive to produce.
